This album became an unexpected contemplation on death. It is happy accidents and sad departures. It is a practice of mourning for strangers dying in foreign waters, friends dying suddenly, alone and of their own hand, and a father dying too slowly (finally being released after the coptic brutality of a degenerative disease).

After almost 3 years of isolation the rock cracked open and this poured out. Thanks to all who's ears helped these songs find the light!
